ARA is the abbreviation of Arachidonic Acid (ARA), also known as eicosatetraenoic acid, is a kind of polyunsaturated fatty acid, one of the essential fatty acids for human growth and development, and is also the highest content and most widely distributed polyunsaturated fatty acid in the human body, especially in the brain and nervous tissue. The content of ARA generally accounts for 40%-50% of single PUFAs, and even as high as 70% in nerve endings, and the content of ARA in normal human plasma is as high as 400mg/L. ARA is essential for the development of the brain and nervous system in infants and young children. Before and after birth is a critical period for brain development and vision development.

ARA includes two product types: ARA oil and ARA microencapsulated powder. Mainly used in infant formula food, health food and dietary supplements and other fields, often used in liquid milk, yogurt, milk drinks and other health food.
